We were established in 1901. The Club has between 350 and 400 members and is the oldest and one of the largest in the area. Swimmers currently swim in 5 different pools including Dudley and Stourbridge Leisure Centres and a number of school pools.
We were established in 1901. The Club has between 350 and 400 members and is the oldest and one of the largest in the area. Swimmers currently swim in 5 different pools including Dudley and Stourbridge Leisure Centres and a number of school pools.
The Club has achieved ASA quality approval with their Swim21 accreditation and been awarded Sport England’s prestigious Club mark. All Coaches and Committee Members have been DBS police checked and all Teachers and Coaches are ASA qualified. The Club is an amateur club and run on a non-profit basis, ensuring charges are kept to a minimum. It also has 2 welfare officers (one male and one female) to ensure that the welfare of all swimmers is protected.
The club is a competitive swimming club and competes in the premier division of the leagues and takes swimmers up to National standard. It also has members competing on the international stage. We are the only club in the area which has two full time teams competing in all the major leagues and so can offer the best competiitve opportunties in the area. However we are also a family friendly club with a thriving Parents Association who organise events.
