Education represents one of the key areas of focus for Active Black Country and it's partners. Over the next 2 years, Active Black Country will:
- Ensure schools place Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity at the heart of everyday school life, capturing and evidencing the valued contribution it can make to whole school priorities.
- Utilising Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity and the incorporation of movement across the school day to align to the wider health agenda and helping to raise awareness of its contribution to wider public health outcomes.
- Increase the breadth of options for families and young people to be active together supporting both transfer and transition within, across and out of education into the community and world of work.
