Active Black Country Board Chair Recruitment
Active Black Country is looking for a new Board Chair to drive the partnership forward and realise our ambition of getting over 300,000 people in the Black Country region more active.
We work collaboratively with a range of local partners to inspire and enable people to lead an active lifestyle, creating a broad and diverse range of opportunities for individuals that are both inclusive and attainable.
As a partnership of statutory and non-statutory organisations that are passionate about increasing physical activity levels across the Black Country, we are acutely aware that the delivery of opportunities will be dependent upon the thousands of public, private and increasingly third sector organisations.
We are looking for an individual who can operate at a senior strategic level; with experience of successful partnership working, who can take the lead in driving forward our ambition of increasing physical activity and widening sporting opportunity across the Black Country.
Our new Board Chair as well as providing strategic leadership and promoting advocacy will lead the performance management of the partnership’s strategic framework - ‘Towards an Active Black Country’ - ensuring that we showcase some of the fantastic work being undertaken across the Black Country and attract further resources to the region.
If you are interested please read through the recruitment pack and applicant information and we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
