Black Country Sport and Physical Activity Sector encouraged to support a Black Country Christmas social media campaign

To celebrate the diversity and strength of the sport and physical activity sector in the Black Country, and the success stories we are proud of, we are supporting the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership's annual social media campaign in the run up to Christmas.

The Active Black Country campaign will highlight achievements in the Black Country of projects, organisations, individuals, schools or community’s in relation to sport, physical activity, health and mental wellbeing.

Active Black Country is encouraging you to tweet about things that you want to celebrate or are proud of in the Black Country.

We will also be celebrating the things we are proud of.

From 1st December, Active Black Country will be launching its own ‘virtual advent calendar’ of daily tweets in support of the campaign and would like you to:

  • Identify a project, community, organisation or individual you are proud of
  • Post a tweet including a picture
  • Remember to include the hashtag #CelebrateBlackCountry and also if possible use the hashtag #ABCadventcalendar

Let’s spread some Christmas cheer and celebrate the Black Country!

For further details on the campaign, please email Joanne Booker.
