Tim Aldred Leaves Active Black Country

Active Black Country would like to thank Tim Aldred for his work as the Strategic Lead for Education as he leaves the organisation, in December 2024, to pursue other career opportunities.

Working for Active Black Country since 2015 Tim has played a pivotal role within the team, leading on a range of Sport England funded programmes including the School Games, Primary PE Premium, Active Lives and Opening Schools Facilities.

In addition, Tim led on local approaches to promote a healthier more active lifestyle for children & young people who live in the Black Country – this includes the Healthy Schools Framework and the Black Country Rainbow Campaign.

Tim’s approach to partnership development has always been at the forefront of his work and over the course of the last 9 years he has worked with a breadth and depth of organisations across the Black Country.

We wish Tim all the very best in his future career and look forward to building on the legacy established across the Children & Young People theme, to provide children & young people the best start in life through a range of opportunities to be active at an early age, establishing a foundation for an active life.
